Historically speaking, Apple releases a brand new iPad each fall which means the iPad 5 rumor factory is buzzing with anticipation. As always, Switch Wireless is here to give you the lowdown on everything you need to know about the next iPad.
Before we get into specifics about the next iPad, do you remember when the very first iPad was launched back on April 3, 2010? The first iPad mini was launched on November 12, 2012 soon afterwards. America fell in love with Apple’s iPad due to its simple interface, multi-touch screen, and most of all, it’s virtual keyboard. The iPad has carved out a very specific niche in a market full of tablets and is quickly taking over the market. We are all eagerly awaiting the launch of the next iPad. Here’s what you need to know about the iPad 5:
1. The iPad 5, or the Next iPad, will most likely go into production this summer during July and/or August. This is according to Digitimes which site Taiwan-based supply chain makers.
2. The iPad will be released in September, 2013.
4. The iPad 5 will have a 9.7-inch screen so it will look a lot like an iPad mini except with a much larger screen.
5. Apple executives are expecting to ship roughly 5 million units when the iPad 5 launches in the Fall.
